A mobile navigation device for walkers aged between 40-65 to assist them in navigating and exploring the countryside more enjoyably and safely.

Walking is the most popular form of exercise in the UK, with 62% of UK adults walking more than two miles once a month; most walkers are in higher income brackets with the median age of walkers being 43.

Whilst older serious walkers can generally read Ordnance Survey maps, many feel uneasy with technology and do not realise how it can enhance their walking experience. Navmap is targeted at this population.
